Cappagh 2-19 Leixlip 2-14

A highly entertaining and competitive challenge match was played here on a cool and crisp February night at Tadgh Downey Park.

It was an evenly matched first half, with a strong and experienced Leixlip side showing their experience and converted some fine scores from distance.
But these Cappagh Hurlers, who are growing in confidence with every game, came out flying in the second half, and dominated the match, to carve out a solid win, with Leixlip nicking a late goal.

These challenge matches are a great preparation for the League in April, and our Young Adult hurlers continue to do us proud, apply themselves, and build their experience. The Future is bright!
