Match Report - our LGFA underage squads worked together to ensure we had a U14 team for Round 2 of Division 3 League v Carbury

While our girls were giving away in years to Carbury they more than held their own with their skills and determination

The first half was a very close affair, with Cappagh’s defence & goalkeeper Lucy Doherty keeping out the strong Carbury team. Some goal chances for Cappagh just went the wrong side of the posts and at half time Carbury led by 2-0 v 0-1

Chances continued for both sides in 2nd half but it was Carbury who converted more of theirs into goals

Cappagh kept playing to the end with some great team scores finished off by Anna Rose Cassidy & Sienna Campion

The game finished on a score line of 6-2 v 0-6 for Carbury but all the girls should be very proud of their performances
