Our Joe Mallon Motors sponsored senior footballers put in their best performance of the campaign to-date to defeat Rheban and move to the top of group B.

A hard working performance by Cappagh never allowed Rheban into their stride, and with Brian McNally and Ollie Lewis in scoring form up front, Cappagh lead at halftime by 0 07 to 0 04.

An Ollie Lewis goal at the start of the second half opened up a 6 point gap, Cappagh maintained their work rate and composure for the second half and never allowed Rheban to close the gap and their hard work was rewarded with a comfortable 1 12 to 0 08 victory.
