Congratulations to our Joe Mallon Motors sponsored Minor (u18) boys football team on reaching a first league final for the club at this grade when they fought out a thrilling 3 13 to 3 13 draw away to Abbey Rangers in Ballykelly tonight.

Cappagh looked the better team for long spells but were hit with two late goals to go a point down late on, but the team showed great composure and determination to dig out an equalising score and to claim top spot in the league table with 5 points out of 6.

Well done to the panel and to all involved.

The team now look forward to a league final v Athgarvan the weekend after next.
