Hard luck to our senior hurlers tonight who put in a great performance against an experienced and tough Coill Dubh senior team.

On a beautiful evening here, It was nip and tuck in the first half, with just 4 points in it at half time.
Our lads kept in touch throughout the match, super scores from distance, and at one point in the second half had reduced the deficit to just 2 points.

But Coill Dubh showed their experience and composure to nick a couple of goals and widen the margin again.
Cappagh fought to the very end, but wasn’t to be tonight.

Well done to Coill Dubh, who’s manager offered some extremely kind words and compliments to our lads after the match.

Our young senior team once again doing themselves extremely proud, and gaining valuable experience with each match.

Well done to the mentors , Tom Murray, Keighleigh Byrne, and our super stats man Colm O’Ruairc. Doing a super job.

On we go, as we look forward to the league in a few weeks time.
