Result: Cappagh 0-10 Confey 1-18

Hard luck to our adult hurlers who were beaten today in the Junior Hurling Championship semi-final.

They came up against a very experienced side in Confey today.

It was a very tight contest in the first half with only 5 points between the teams at half time.

Confey stood firm against a young Cappagh side that pushed them right up until the final whistle.

Today was not our day. The only teams that have beaten Cappagh in either league or championship this year have been Confey or Wolftones, the two teams competing in the Junior championship final.

Our team of young hurlers has come a long way in a short space of time.

Huge credit to their efforts and that of their management over the past year in their progress so far.

Keep up the good work lads and well done on a fantastic year getting to a League final and a championship semi-final for the first time ever.
